BUILDING AN ONLINE EVALUATION SYSTEM BASED ON THE SOCKET PROTOCOL

The development of online assessment systems has become a key aspect of educational reform, enabling efficient, scalable, and secure evaluation processes. This study presents an online assessment system based on a socket communication protocol, which provides a reliable foundation for real-time data exchange and processing between clients and servers. Unlike traditional assessment platforms, the proposed model employs asynchronous input/output mechanisms and the Model–View–Controller (MVC) design pattern, ensuring high scalability, platform independence, and an improved user experience. Key functionalities of the system include a secure authentication mechanism, dynamic generation of test tasks, and automated grading procedures. The study also addresses task classification based on complexity levels, creating opportunities for personalized assessment and adaptive testing strategies. By integrating real-time communication technologies with modern software engineering principles and robust data security measures, this research offers a comprehensive solution for contemporary digital education environments.
