Maximal Inequalities for Partial Sums of $\rho$-Mixing Sequences

A Rosenthal-type inequality for maximum partial sums of $\\rho$-mixing sequences is obtained. Applications to the complete convergence and almost sure summability of partial sums are also discussed.
