Soil solar water heating collectors (SWHCs) are the subject of consideration; their bottom part is a layer of insulation-soil or air-soil. Soil temperature fluctuations and heat emissions have been investigated through the soil bottom. The heat emissions in SWHCs and water heating collectors are quite similar.
