Abstract The purpose of the study of scientific work is to study the possibilities of improving the quality of the combined tape and the performance of the carding machine, determining the effect of the receiving drum on the quality of the thread. The speed (rotating frequency) of the take-up drum, acting on the properties of the fibers, directly leads to a change in the properties of the tape and thread.
