OBTAINING COAL ADSORBENTS BASED ON LOCAL WOOD WASTE, RESEARCH OF THEIR PHYSICO-CHEMICAL AND ADSORPTION PROPERTIES

The article presents the results of a study of porous carbon materials obtained by thermal and steam activation of wood waste. Regardless of the type of feedstock, carbon materials with high physicochemical properties were obtained as a result of activation. Based on the results of theoretical and experimental studies, the conditions for optimal process control were determined, which made it possible to control the technological properties of the obtained sorbents. It has been established that the adsorption properties of the sorbent are determined by the porous structure and chemical nature of the surface.
