Stable Isotope Hydrology: Deuterium and Oxygen‐18 in the Water Cycle

In 1973, the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency)/UNESCO Working Group on Nuclear Techniques in Hydrology of the International Hydrological Programme recognized the need for a book to acquaint hydrologists, hydrogeologists, and geochemists with the principles and techniques of stable isotope hydrology. This volume fills that need exceptionally well. Although designed as an introductory text, this systematic volume contains sufficient detail to serve as a good reference for the specialist. It is divided into 13 chapters, most of which were written by present or past staff of the IAEA.
