Acousto-optical study of ferroelectric crystals

Abstract A review of the acousto-optical study of ferroelectric crystals by means of Bragg scattering is given. The mean features of light scattering and the use of this phenomenon for the study of optical, elastic, elasto-optical, and domain properties of crystals is considered.
