Аннотация

In recent years, there has been growing evidence that lifestyle factors, including diet, body weight and physical activity, may be associated with an increased risk of breast cancer. However, the influence of dietary factors on breast cancer recurrence and mortality has not been established. Recent research suggests that high intakes of unprocessed grains, vegetables, fruits, nuts and olive oils, as well as saturated fatty acids and red meat, and moderate or low intake of salt, which is a model of a healthy diet, may improve overall survival after a breast cancer diagnosis. Thus, dietary intervention in breast cancer patients can be considered an integral part of amultimodal therapeutic approach [1,2].
