Аннотация

The development of small business and private entrepreneurship plays a crucial role in enhancing regional economic growth, creating employment opportunities, and fostering innovation. This study focuses on the Samarkand region of Uzbekistan, analyzing the current state of small enterprises, identifying challenges they face, and exploring opportunities for sustainable development. By employing a mixed-method approach, including statistical analysis and field surveys of local entrepreneurs, the research highlights the key factors influencing business growth, such as access to finance, regulatory frameworks, infrastructure, and human capital. The findings reveal that despite significant progress in recent years, small businesses in Samarkand continue to encounter barriers related to limited financial resources, bureaucratic obstacles, and insufficient support for innovative activities. The study proposes strategic recommendations to strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem, including enhancing financial accessibility, simplifying administrative procedures, and promoting skill development programs. These measures aim to stimulate entrepreneurship, attract investment, and contribute to the overall socio-economic advancement of the region. This research provides valuable insights for policymakers, investors, and scholars interested in fostering a dynamic small business environment in transitional economies.
