STATISTICAL ASSESSMENT OF THE COMPETITIVENESS OF FARMS IN THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN BASED ON THE VALUE ADDED CHAIN

The article examines the issues of applying the value added chain concept in assessing the competitiveness of farming enterprises in the Republic of Uzbekistan. During the research, the value added created at the stages of production, processing, and marketing in farming enterprises was analyzed based on statistical indicators. The results scientifically substantiate that the level of development of the value added chain is one of the key factors determining the competitiveness of farming enterprises, and proposals for improving the methodology of statistical assessment were developed.
