INDIVIDUAL APPROACHES IN ARTERIAL HYPERTENSION: MODERN CLINICAL STRATEGIES AND PRACTICAL SIGNIFICANCE

Arterial hypertension (AH) is one of the leading global health problems and represents a major risk factor for cardiovascular diseases, including myocardial infarction, stroke, and chronic kidney disease. In recent years, the management of hypertension has shifted from standardized treatment regimens toward individualized therapeutic strategies. An individualized approach involves selecting diagnostic and therapeutic interventions based on the patient’s age, sex, comorbid conditions, genetic predisposition, socio-economic status, lifestyle characteristics, and pharmacogenetic profile. This scientific article analyzes the theoretical foundations of individualized management in arterial hypertension, its role in clinical practice, modern diagnostic and treatment principles, and the prospects for implementation within the healthcare system of Uzbekistan. The research methodology was based on a systematic review of literature, comparative analysis of international clinical guidelines, and synthesis of epidemiological data. The main section extensively discusses the pathogenesis of arterial hypertension, cardiovascular risk stratification, pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment strategies, individualized management in the presence of comorbidities, patient-centered care principles, and the emerging role of pharmacogenetics. The findings demonstrate that individualized approaches significantly improve blood pressure control, reduce the risk of complications, and enhance patients’ quality of life. In conclusion, individualized management of arterial hypertension represents a clinically effective and economically justified strategy for contemporary healthcare systems.
