THE EFFECTIVENESS OF INNOVATIVE METHODS IN DEVELOPING COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCE IN THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS

This article examines the effectiveness of innovative teaching methods in developing communicative competence among primary school students. The research is based on the competency-based approach, the theory of interactive teaching methods, and the concept of innovative pedagogy. During the experimental study, role-playing activities, group discussions, collaborative projects, and performance-based assessment tools were implemented. The findings demonstrate that innovative methods significantly enhance students’ speech activity, dialogic interaction skills, argumentative abilities, and social communication culture. The results are comparatively analyzed in relation to international research and the possibilities of adapting global experience to the educational context of Uzbekistan are substantiated. The study proposes an effective model for developing communicative competence and provides practical recommendations for its implementation in primary education.
