This article analyzes the role of modern information and communication technologies (ICT) in the formation of communication skills and social adaptation of students with intellectual disabilities. The author highlights innovative strategies used in correctional pedagogy, systems of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and the potential of artificial intelligence. Furthermore, the article defines promising directions for using digital tools to enhance educational efficiency.
