The article conducts experimental work on optimizing the routing process based on the morphometric indicators of the terrain - elevation, slope, exposure, level of complexity, and other geomorphological parameters. Using digital terrain model (DRM) data, the elevation, average slope, exposure, and division coefficient were determined and calculated. These indicators were integrated into automatic route selection algorithms, and experimental modeling was conducted to determine the most optimal routes under various terrain conditions.
