Аннотация

This article discusses the principles, diagnostic significance, and clinical applications of Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring (ABPM). The method allows continuous measurement of blood pressure over a 24-hour period during a patient’s normal daily activities and sleep. ABPM plays an important role in the diagnosis of arterial hypertension, detection of white-coat hypertension, masked hypertension, and assessment of treatment effectiveness. The article highlights the advantages of ABPM over conventional office blood pressure measurements and emphasizes its value in cardiovascular risk assessment and prevention of complications. The findings demonstrate that ambulatory blood pressure monitoring is an essential tool in modern cardiovascular medicine.
