Ateroskleroz zamonaviy tibbiyotning eng muhim muammolaridan biri bo‘lib xisoblanadi, unda arteriyalarning tuzilishi va ichki qavati o‘zgaradi. Bu jarayonlarning barchasi qon tomir bo‘shlig‘ining torayishiga va o‘tkir qon aylanishining buzilishiga olib keladi. Bevosita qon-tomir to‘qimalari kimyoviy elementlarini o‘rganilishi, yurak-qon kasalliklarini, ayniqsa aterosklerozning rivojlanish mexanizmini tushuntiradi. Ayni tadqiqot maqsadi ateroskleroz jarayonidagi turli bosqichlardagi aterosklerotik pilakchalarda microelement tarkibini o‘rganishdir. Buning uchun neytron-aktivasion uslubidan foydalanildi, bu uslub qator xislatlarga ega: yuqori sezgirlik, tanlash va namuna parchalanishi talab qilinmasligidir. Maqolada lipidli, fibrozli, yaralangan va kalsinozlangan pilakchalardagi 13 ta elementning tarkibi aniqlangan. Ateroskleroz kuchayishi jarayonida bir qator essensial elementlarning tarkibining o‘zgarishi kuzatilib, kalsiy, stronsiy, selen, rux va temirning miqdori ortib, brom miqdori esa kamayishi aniqlandi. Qon tomirning aterosklerotik shikastlanishi jarayonida temirning roli borligi taxmin qilingan. Ushbu tadqiqot qon aylanish sistemalari (uyqu tomirlari aterosklerozi va yonbosh arteriya) kasalliklarida klinik-bioximik va patogenetik muammolari, postkovid, nevrolgik, psixiatrik, suyak- bo‘g‘im muommolarini davolash innovasion loyixasiga binoan bajarildi.

Atherosclerosis is one of the most important problems of modern medicine, in which the structure and inner lining of the arteries changes. All these processes lead to a narrowing of the lumen of blood vessels and can lead to acute circulatory disorders. Studying chemical elements directly in vascular tissues allows us to understand the mechanisms of development of cardiovascular diseases, in particular atherosclerosis. The purpose of this study is to study the microelement composition of atherosclerotic plaques at various stages of development of the atherosclerosis process. Neutron activation analysis, which has a number of advantagessuch as high sensitivity, selectivity, and does not require sample decomposition, was used as a research method. According to the developed method, the content of 13 elements in lipid, fibrous, ulcerated and calcific plaques was determined. It has been established that during the progression of atherosclerosis, the content of a number of essential elements changes, the content of calcium, strontium, selenium, zinc and iron increases and the bromine content decreases. It has been suggested that iron plays a role in the progression of atherosclerotic vascular lesions.
