Annotatsiya
Metallic sulfides containing molybdenum occur in a Triassic-Jurassic coal-volcanic complex in an Uzbek intermontane graben. The molybdenum was originally concentrated in the living coal plants and secondarily enriched by jordisite-ilsemannite mineralization from circulating ground waters. Economic development should include the possibilities of finding and using placer gold, alumina and refractory clays, coal, and molybdenum ore.--M. Russell.
