Annotatsiya

The velocity of fourth sound has been measured in channels of three sizes in a broad range of temperatures and He II densities, and the mean density of the superfluid component in such channels and the shift of the λ point have been determined. Information about the critical diameter and regeneration length has been obtained within the framework of the model proposed. It is shown that the regeneration length in the 1.0°K–Tλ temperature range is described by a simple power law independent of the fluid density.
