Annotatsiya
The effect of uniform pressures up to 12 kbar on the Curie temperature of two isomorphic copper salts—Cu(NH4)2Br4·2H2O (Tc = 1.83°K) and CuK2C14·2H2O (Tc = 0.88°K)—in the range 4.2−0.4°K was investigated. It was found that with increase in pressure the Curie temperature for Cu(NH4)2Br4·2H2O rises linearly (ΔTc/ΔP = +0.03 deg/kbar), while that for CuK2C14·2H2O falls (ΔTc/ΔP = −0.01 deg/kbar). The results are discussed in the framework of the three-dimensional Heisenberg model of a ferromagnet.
