The Seasoning of South African Grown <i>Eucalyptus grandis</i> and <i>E. saligna</i> Sawn Timber / Die Droging Van Suid- Afrikaans Gekweekte Eucalyptus Grandis- En E. Saugna-Saaghout

ABSTRACT The drying characteristics and the seasoning methods employed in the drying of locally grown E. grandis and E. saligna timbers are discussed. Much has still to be done to improve local seasoning practice and several suggestions have been put forward to obtain a better quality seasoned product.
