Superconductivity in two-component compounds. The isotope effect in PdH

The isotope effect is considered for intermediate-coupling superconducting compounds. An additional contribution to the effect is found, which is absent in pure superconductors. For PdH the expression for Tc agrees with the inverse isotope effect observed when hydrogen is substituted by deuterium.
