The theory of surface spin waves in Heisenberg ferromagnetics

Dispersion relationships for spin states localized at the crystal surface are obtained for fcc and bcc simple ferromagnetic lattice models, described by an isotropic Heisenberg Hamiltonian with nearest-neighbor interaction, and for complex CsCl and NaCl type ferromagnetic lattices in the one-magnon approximation. The plane (001) was chosen as the surface bounding the semi-infinite ferromagnet.
