Effect of Fermi surface form and topology on thermal conductivity of the intermediate state of superconductors

Annotatsiya

Dimensional thermomagnetic effects in the thermal conductivity of the intermediate state of a type-I superconductor with an arbitrary Fermi surface are studied theoretically. “Giant” oscillations of the thermal conductivity coefficient are found, caused by open electron trajectories. An analogy is established between thermomagnetic effects in the intermediate state and magnetoacoustic resonance phenomena in a normal metal. The effects studied may be used to establish the form and topology of the Fermi surface, and also to measure the laminar structure period of the intermediate stage.
