Annotatsiya
Results of experimental and theoretical studies of solid oxygen are presented. The orientational structure and thermal expansion have been studied for all three crystal modifications. Magnon and libron excitation spectra have been calculated. Based on the analysis of structural, thermodynamic, spectral, and magnetic properties, solid oxygen is shown to be a quasi-two-dimensional magnetic material.
