Annotatsiya
The influence of a strong magnetic field upon the luminescence intensity of CsMnCl3·2H2O is studied for the temperature interval 4–20°K. The observed strengthening of the luminescence is explained in terms of an excitonic luminescence mechanism induced by an external field which produces a noncollinearity of the magnetic structure.
