Annotatsiya

The high-frequency and thermodynamic properties of rare-earth ferrite–garnets (REFG) are investigated in a broad range of wave vectors and temperatures, including the temperatures at which the sublattice of the rare-earth (RE) spins is in the paramagnetic (PM) state. It is shown that the role of the magnetization fluctuations of the RE sublattices is strongly attenuated in the magnetically ordered state of the REFG. At the same time, the principal contribution to the temperature dependence of the spin wave spectrum is given by linear corrections in the temperature from the PM spin vibrations, and the fluctuating attenuation of the spin waves considerably exceeds the total attenuation of the magnons in yttrium–iron garnet (YIG).
