Annotatsiya

The results of measurements of the complex dielectric permittivity ϵ* = ϵ′ – iϵ″ in the microwave frequency range are presented for liquid and plastic phases of 2,2-dinitropropane, (CH3)2 C(NO2)2. It is found that in both the phases the dipolar rotation of molecules is characterised by a relaxation time of the order of 10−11 s and an activation barrier of about 2 kcal/mole.
