Annotatsiya
The contribution of optical vibrations to the specific heat as the crystal anisotropy changes is analyzed by the method of Jacobi matrices. It is shown that low-frequency optical modes existing in strongly anisotropic crystals yield a substantial contribution to the low-temperature thermodynamic characteristics of these compounds.
