The effect of scattering processes on the singularities of the order parameter Δ(p,ω) of a superconductor in the case when, under the action of external influences, the Fermi surface ε(p) = εF changes its topology at the critical energy εcr is investigated. It is shown that, for εF—εcr≲Δ the effect of the scattering processes on the root singularities of Δ(p,ω) is effectively [(εF —εcr)/ms2]1/2 times weaker (m is the electron mass and s is the velocity of sound). The Δ(p,ω) singularities that can be observed experimentally manifest themselves in the Fermi-surface-averaged quantity Δ(ω).
