The P−T line of three-phase (vapor–liquid–solid) equilibrium of the deuterium–helium binary system was measured from the triple point of deuterium to a pressure of approximately 60 atm. The solubility of He4 in deuterium on this three-phase equilibrium line is estimated. The difference between the effects of Ne and He4 impurities on the freezing temperature of hydrogen isotopes is also examined.
