Annotatsiya
The energy spectrum and the density of electron states in a cylindrical conductor of radius R located in a longitudinal magnetic field H are analyzed. It is assumed that the reflection of the electrons by the sample boundary is specular. It is found that quantum oscillations similar to the Kosevich–Lifshitz oscillations for electrons in a plate occur in fields for which the radius of the Larmor orbit rH>R.
