Investigation of the voltage distribution in a film in a dynamic mixed state

The voltage distribution along Sn and Al films, located in a perpendicular magnetic field, is investigated. It is shown that in the region of the dynamic mixed state (I &lt; I*), the voltage is uniformly distributed along the film. The appearance of a stepped structure on the I-V curves for I ≥ I* is related to the formation of local regions with a voltage drop in the film, whose characteristic size ˄ ∼ 2lE.The results obtained confirm the results obtained by I. M. Dmitrenko et al. [Fiz. Nizk. Temp. 7, 383 (1981)].
