The Kubo method is used to calculate the spin-diffusion coefficient and the spin–spin relaxation time, due to the dipole–dipole interaction of the nuclear magnetic moments of a dilute magnetic system. A comparison is made with the results of NMR experiments on measuring the diffusion coefficient in solid solutions of helium isotopes.
