Annotatsiya

The excess Gibbs potential (GE), excess entropy (SE), and excess enthalpy (HE) of a 3He–4He mixture in the temperature range 4.5–14 K at pressures up 30 atm are calculated on the basis of experimental P–V–T data. The dependences of these functions on the temperature, pressure, and concentration of the mixture are established. The results are compared with calculations by the Prigogine theory. The excess characteristics of the 3He–4He system are calculated within the framework of the gas approximation with allowance for both diffraction and quantum-statistical effects.
