An experimental investigation of the thermal conductivity of solid N2O and CO2 in the premelting temperature regions has been carried out. It was established that over a wide temperature range the thermal resistivity of both crystals is described by a linear temperature dependence. It is shown that a libron contribution to the thermal resistivity of the crystals is only sufficiently evident near their triple points. Over the whole temperature range studied there is an appreciable contribution to the thermal resistivity of N2O from processes of phonon scattering by local deviations in the molecular force interaction as a result of the dipole disorder in the crystal.
