Nature of high-frequency oscillations generated by a superconducting film with a resistive state

Annotatsiya

It is shown that non-Josephson oscillations can be induced in the resistive state of superconducting films by quantum transitions of quasiparticles (with photon emission) from the resonance level ε1 to the edge of the superconductor energy gap. The genesis of the level ε1 is associated with interference effects between quasiparticles scattered by the boundaries of a phase-slip center. Electrons acquire this energy in the electric field generated by the phase-slip center, as a result of multiple Andreev reflection processes. The temperature dependence of the oscillation frequency qualitatively confirms the experimental data.
