Annotatsiya

The intermediate state (IS) of orthoferrite in the spin-flop transition field Ht(T) is studied taking into account the Dzyaloshinskiĭ interaction. It is shown that as the transition field decreases [Ht (T) → 0 in the limit T → TM] the dimensions of the IS domains increase, and in a field Ht(T) ≪ 2d (d is the Dzyaloshinskiĭ constant) the IS studied does not exist.
