Annotatsiya
The results of the experimental observation of the vibration-rotation effect in liquid He, predicted by Gurevich, Sonin, and Fomin, are presented. Rotation of the liquid was observed in both the normal and superconducting phases. The behavior of the angular rotational velocity as a function of the temperature was studied in the temperature interval 2.3–1.4 K. The experimental dependences Ω(T) obtained are described satisfactorily by a square root dependence on the viscosity. Analysis of the available data gives a basis for assuming that the superfluid component of He participates in the rotation.
