Annotatsiya

The specific heat of FexNi82–xCr18 (x = 2−37) is studied in the temperature interval 4.2−45 K. The lattice, electron, and magnetic components of specific heat are isolated and used for determining the Debye temperature, electron specific heat and magnetic entropy respectively. The magnetic entropy data lead to the conclusion about the formation of cluster-type spin glasses and are used to calculate the average number of iron atoms in a cluster. The density of s- and d-electron states on the Fermi surface is calculated and their contributions to the specific heat and electric conduction analyzed.
