Systematic experimental studies have been carried out of the positions and the amplitudes of maxima on the electron focusing line, as well as of the probability of specular reflection of electrons at the sample surface for high emitter current densities. The nonlinear effects observed in these cases are interpreted with the help of the geometric nonlinearity model that takes into account the dependence of the cyclotron radius on the electron energy.
