The temperature dependence of the coefficient of first-second sound transformation at the bcc 4He–He II interface is measured and absolute values of the temperature oscillation amplitude in the second sound wave are determined. It is shown that except in the metastable region, the oscillation amplitude increases with decreasing temperature, thus pointing towards a fairly high rate of growth and melting of bcc crystals of 4He.
