Annotatsiya

A wide spectrum of distortions induced in ultrathin beryllium films less than 10 Å thick causes a transition of the system from the state of strong localization completely suppressing the superconductivity (in this case, R□ of the layer assumes values of about 97600 Ω) to a weak localization state coexisting with superconductivity at comparatively high Tc (5 K). The resistance per quadratic area element decreases in this case by more than an order of magnitude. Superconductivity with Tc = 1.7 K is observed under strong localization, when R□ of the layer is 34000 Ω.
