Annotatsiya

Experimental studies have been carried out to determine the structure, microstructure, optical reflection between 1 and 6.2 eV, heat capacity, magnetic susceptibility, and electric conductivity of quick-quenched thermally oxide-coated copper ribbons doped with Sm(Y) and Ba. The oxide layer of the ribbons, which is of multiphase type and contains characteristic HTS (high temperature superconductor) structures as well as normal oxides, is found to possess a granular microcrystalline structure. Optical measurements show that monovalent copper layer dominates in the oxide layer. The rate of oxygen exchange with the gaseous medium is found to increase at certain temperatures between 250 and 325 K. The observed experimental data indicate that for currents of 7·10−5 A and at room temperatures, some samples reveal the existence of regions with an anomalously low resistance forming a highly unstable “Josephson medium.”
