Variation of micro- and macroplasticity of Pb- and In-based alloys in superconducting transition
Annotatsiya
The effect of superconducting transition on micro- and macro-plasticity of Pb- and In-based alloys with different impurity contents is studied by the methods of amplitude-dependent internal friction and active deformation. It is shown that the variations of the typical stresses (Δσ0NS and ΔτNS) of micro- and macroplasticity with the average length L of dislocation segments and with the binding energy U with impurities are similar: Δσ0NS and ΔτNS are proportional to L−1 and increase with U. An analysis of the obtained results and of those available in literature by using quantitative data on dislocation-impurity interaction parameters and taking into account the conditions of dislocation motion allows us to consider possible mechanisms of the effect of superconducting transitions on dynamics of dislocations.
