Annotatsiya

A review of all experimental works carried out during the past 20 years on Bose condensation in liquid helium is presented. The main attention is paid to the method of directly determining the number density of Bose condensate (n0) from the inelastic scattering of neutrons by helium. The most reliable quantitative and qualitative results for n0(T) are presented. Prospects of further experimental works in this field are discussed. A brief review of the main theoretical results obtained for Bose condensation in liquid 4He is presented.
