Annotatsiya

It is shown that quasi-two-dimensional metallic systems (of the type of acceptor compounds of graphite) can exhibit qualitatively new relaxation mechanisms associated with electron scattering at the sample surface. A typical feature of these mechanisms is a close connection between the specific processes of electron–phonon and electron–electron relaxation in two-dimensional systems with a diffusive motion of electrons in the coordinate space. Under certain conditions, these mechanisms leads to a minimum in the temperature dependence of the electrical resistance.
