Annotatsiya

A new phenomenon has been found in studies of the electrical resistance of YBa2Cu3O7–x single crystals (with Tc = 90.2 °K and ΔTc ≈ 0.2 °K); two states are observed, depending on the magnitude of the applied field, which differ sharply in the appearance of the superconducting transition curves and in the value of the normal resistance. The transition from one state to the other takes place abruptly at a certain threshold value of magnetic field.
