Annotatsiya

The influence of a defect atom that is lighter than the matrix atom on the heat capacity of a crystal is studied theoretically and experimentally by considering the example of Ar solution in Kr. It is shown that the dynamic interaction for light impurities affects only the high-frequency region of the phonon spectrum and does not exert a noticeable influence on the thermodynamic characteristics at low temperatures up to very high concentrations of impurity atoms.
