Peculiarities of low-temperature lattice dynamics of layered crystals CsR(MoO4)2 (R = Dy, Gd)

Annotatsiya

The results of investigations of the low-temperature heat capacity of layered crystals CsDy(MoO4)2 and CsCd(MoO4)2 in the temperature range from 2.5 to 40 K are considered. Various theoretical approaches used for describing the lattice heat capacity of layered crystals with a complex lattice are analyzed. A model taking into account optical phonons along with acoustic phonons is proposed. Various parameters of the phonon subsystem in the crystals under investigation are determined.
