Annotatsiya
The behavior of quantum corrections to magnetoconductivity (MC) as a function of high-density currents (up to ∼ 104 A · cm−2) is investigated in thin (∼ 100 Å) Bi films. It is shown that a possible reason behind the variation of the MC curves is a close approach of the characteristic times τφ and τso due to the heating effect associated with the current (τφ is the time of inelastic scattering of electrons and τso is the time of the spin–orbit impurity scattering). It is found that it is significant to take into account only the localization correction to MC and its variation during heating for a complete description of transformations of the MC curves.
